Nominate Your 2025 Rising Star

Do you know a band that has dreamed of playing on the same stage as our stars? Greenville Country Music Fest wants to make that dream a reality! We are so excited to launch our Rising Star Search contest, Fueled by Monster Energy. Nominate your local band in the comments on our social channels for the opportunity to play at GVL Fest October 24-25, 2025 + earn money for their band! 

Whose name will you choose to represent your town alongside Zach Top, Koe Wetzel, Travis Tritt, Muscadine Bloodline, + more? 

How it works:
Greenville Country Music Fest will spotlight local bands/artists at Greenville Country Music Fest. Fans and friends alike have the opportunity to nominate a band to represent their town. The nominated bands will go pick to stick, shredding and singing their way to the top, chasing after the GVL Golden Plaque that will be presented to a winner in October. 

Eligibility
For a chance to perform at Greenville Country Music Fest, bands must meet the following criteria: 

1. Get Nominated: Bands can be nominated by fans, friends, neighbors, and their dog. Submit your nomination request before September 19th to be considered for the competition.
2. Get Picked: A panel of judges will select the GVL Rising Stars with the most nominations. All selected nominees will be contacted on September 22, 2025.
3. Say Yes: Once the nominees are contacted, they will have just 24 hours to accept an invite to play on the GVL Second Stage, representing their hometown.
4. Make an Impact: The most loved and influential GVL Rising Star wins!
5. Sing With The Stars: Get ready to sing your heart out on stage with our fans and some of country music’s hottest artists.
6. Be a Prize: Greenville Country Music Fest will award the winning band the GVL Golden Plaque to recognize their impact on the community they serve. The winner of the GVL Golden Plaque will get a stage slot for GVL Fest 2026 and be invited to play our sister fest, Carolina Country Music Fest in Myrtle Beach, SC, 2026.
